Sizing

We make three smock sizes ideal for transitioning to solids, including baby led weaning or purees to make your journey to starting solids stress free and mess free mealtimes. We have based the sizing on an age range, however every baby is different on their growth curve and showing signs of readiness for transitioning to solids, so we have a few guidelines to help you decide which size is the best for your little one for the best smock.

‘6 to 18 months’ size is recommended if you are just starting your transition to solids, we recommend it for babies that wear size 00 to 0 clothes or from around 6 months to approximately 18 months or up to about 8 kilograms.

‘12 to 36 months’ is recommended from 12 months (or approximately 8kg) or babies wearing size 0+ clothes and will generally fit through size 2 or approximately 24 to 36 months. If you little one is growing quickly and younger than the 12 month guideline then this is probably the right size for them

‘2+ years’ is recommend from 24 months on wards and will fit most toddlers and children up to a size 4 in clothing. If your little one is smaller than a size 2 in clothing, this smock will be large on them!

Each of the sizes are generous in their design so there is plenty of room to grow and have excellent coverage to ensure your little one remains clean and dry after mealtimes. This is also assisted by the closure of the smock being a tie which can grow with your baby. Closure

The closure has been designed to ensure the smock is not pulled off during meal times and also to assist with the fit of the smock growing with your baby. We know that bibs that have hook and loop or snap closures or fasteners are likely to be pulled off. A baby bib that doesn’t stay on is not going to make for an easy mess-free mealtime. Waterproof Fabric

Sick and tired of stained clothes? A waterproof long sleeve smock is the best way to make messy meal time easier. Our smock has waterproof polyurthethane arms to ensure that sleeves don’t get covered in food and stains. The arms are easy to fit with wide openings and have an elastic around the wrists. They not only are waterproof but also soft and comfortable for your baby to wear making mealtimes an enjoyable experience. This is also because we use a soft absorbent towel front for the smock. Long sleeve towel front smock is a unique design feature of our smock because the towel front has ideal functionality, absorbing and capturing spills and food pieces. To ensure that your babies outfit avoids stains and getting wet there is a panel of waterproof polyurthethane fabric behind the towelling to make a waterproof long sleeve smock with a towel front!

Shipping

We use Australia Post Tracked shipping for all our parcels. We have a fixed price postage of $10 for orders of 2 smocks of less. We offer free shipping for all orders of three or more smocks (excluding sale smocks). For an additional fee we can express post your order.

Care

Check out our care instruction page but we recommend a cold machine wash with a line dry to ensure longevity of your smocks.
